Dr. Andrea Borgonovo

Dr. Andrea Borgonovo, graduated with honors in Medicine and Surgery and specialized in Maxillofacial Surgery, is an expert in dental aesthetic surgery and implantology, with an impressive academic career. Serving as a Contract Professor and Head of Surgery and Implantology at the Istituto Stomatologico Italiano, he has authored over 130 scientific publications and has been a speaker at more than 250 national and international congresses. He has held prestigious academic roles, including Visiting Professor at Universidad Católica de Murcia and Adjunct Professor at the LUdeS Foundation in Malta.

Dr. Andrea Borgonovo graduated with honors in Medicine and Surgery in 1998 from the University of Milan. He then obtained his Specialty Diploma in Maxillofacial Surgery with honors from the same university.

From 2006 to 2010, he worked as a Level I Medical Officer in Maxillofacial Surgery at the Odontostomatology and Dentistry Clinic in Milan. During this time, he also held the position of Contract Professor in the Postgraduate School of Odontostomatological Surgery at the University of Milan.

Since 2011, Dr. Borgonovo has been the Head of Surgery and Implantology at the Dental Aesthetic Department of the Istituto Stomatologico Italiano, directed by Prof. D. Re, at the University of Milan. In 2012, he obtained the qualification for Associate Professor.

In 2015, he was appointed Visiting Professor at the Universidad Católica de Murcia, and in 2016 he was appointed Adjunct Professor at the LUdeS Foundation, University of Malta, further expanding his international collaborations and research network.

Author of over 130 scientific publications, Dr. Borgonovo is also a speaker at more than 250 national and international congresses, where he shares his extensive experience in maxillofacial surgery and dentistry. He is a reviewer for numerous international scientific journals and has authored three books focusing on surgical topics.
