Dr. Andrea Polesel, a graduate with honors in Dentistry, is a recognized expert in endodontics and restorative dentistry. An active member of SIE since 2001 and AIC since 2014, he is also internationally affiliated with ESE and AAE. A contract professor at the University of Genoa (2007–2021), he has taught advanced endodontics courses since 2015 in several countries. He has held leadership roles in SIE and AIC and contributed to initiatives like the hAICarie Project. An author of numerous publications and key textbook chapters, he practices in Arenzano (Genoa), specializing in the interdisciplinary management of complex cases.
CURRICULUM
Dr. Andrea Polesel graduated with honors in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics, distinguishing himself as one of the leading experts in endodontics and restorative dentistry.
Since 2001, he has been an Active Member of the Italian Society of Endodontics (SIE), and since 2014, an Active Member of the Italian Academy of Conservative and Restorative Dentistry (AIC). He is also a Certified Member of the European Society of Endodontology (ESE) and an International Member of the American Association of Endodontists (AAE).
Since 2007, he has been a Contract Professor in Endodontics at the University of Genoa. In 2015, he began teaching for the Fellowship in Advanced Endodontics, with international teaching experience including courses in Iran, Egypt, Dubai, Bahrain, Lebanon, Qatar, and Kuwait.
Dr. Polesel has held significant roles in professional organizations, including serving as a member of the SIE Membership Acceptance Committee (2014–2018) and on the National Executive Council of the SIE as National Cultural Secretary for two consecutive terms (2019–2020 and 2021–2022). He was re-elected to the Council for the following term (2023–2024). Additionally, he served as Cultural Secretary for the Ligurian Section of SIE (SEL) for two terms (2009–2013). Within AIC, he has been a member of the Editorial Committee (2016–2017) and the Cultural Committee (2019–2020-2021–2022), reappointed for the following two terms (2023–2024–2025–2026). He also managed the hAICarie Project (2016–2018).
A prolific author, Dr. Polesel has published numerous articles in national and international scientific journals in the fields of endodontics and restorative dentistry. He is also a contributing author to several key textbooks, including:

An internationally renowned speaker, he delivers lectures and advanced courses both in Italy and abroad. He runs his private clinical practice in Arenzano (Genoa), focusing primarily on the interdisciplinary management of complex clinical cases in the fields of endodontics, restorative dentistry, and oral surgery.
