Dr. Luca Ortensi
Contract Professor in prosthetics at the Universities of Catania (2016-2022) and Ferrara (2021-2023), graduated in Dentistry from the University of Bologna. He holds a Master's in Adhesion from Siena. Active member of CAO commissions and author of scientific articles with over 200 citations. He has delivered more than 300 lectures at international conferences. He practices in Bologna, specializing in prosthetics, reconstructive dentistry, and implantology.
CURRICULUM
Dr. Luca Ortensi served as a Contract Professor at the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Catania (UNICT) for the Prosthetics course from 2016 to 2022 and at the University of Ferrara (UNIFE) from 2021 to 2023. He graduated in Dentistry and Prosthetics at the University of Bologna in 1993 and earned a Master's degree in Adhesion at the University of Siena in 2001.
Currently, he is a member of various CAO commissions at the Medical Association of Bologna and has previously been part of both the CAO and the Medical Association Council of Bologna. From 1994 to 1995, he served as a Dental Officer (reserve) at the Military Academy of Modena.
Dr. Ortensi has attended advanced training courses with renowned Italian and international prosthodontists such as Castellani, Valerio, and Rufenacht. He is the author of scientific articles published in national and international journals, with over 200 citations, and has delivered more than 300 lectures at courses and conferences in Italy and abroad (Germany, Switzerland, Brazil, Spain, USA).
Since 2003, he has been conducting a Ministry of Health-accredited continuing education course in prosthetics. He practices privately in Bologna, focusing exclusively on prosthetics, reconstructive dentistry, and implantology, working in collaboration with fellow colleagues.
