Dr. Luciano Laveglia
Dr. Luciano Laveglia is a dentist specialized in conservative, restorative, prosthetic and periodontal dentistry. He graduated with honours from the University of Insubria and is an Active Member of AIC and university lecturer in Conservative and Restorative Dentistry. Author of scientific publications and contributor to the textbook Clinical Cariology (Quintessenza, 2025), he has lectured at national and international congresses. He currently practices in his private dental clinic in Busto Arsizio.
CURRICULUM
Dr. Luciano Laveglia is an Italian dentist with comprehensive expertise in conservative dentistry, restorative dentistry, prosthodontics, periodontology and implant dentistry. He has been registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Varese since 2019.
He graduated with honours from the University of Insubria with a thesis on tissue optimization and emergence profile design in coronally advanced flap surgery. He also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene (with honours) and a Second-Level Master in Implant-Prosthetics at the University of Pisa, directed by Prof. Ugo Covani .
Clinically, he has worked in several dental practices in northern Italy, performing general dentistry, restorative procedures, prosthodontics, oral surgery and periodontal surgery. Since 2024, he has been the owner of his private dental clinic in Busto Arsizio (VA) .
In the academic field, he is Course Director and Instructor of Conservative and Restorative Dentistry and professional training modules at the University of Insubria for the academic years 2023–24 and 2024–25. In 2024, he became an Active Member of AIC – the Italian Academy of Conservative and Restorative Dentistry, a distinguished recognition in his specialty area. Dr. Laveglia contributes to scientific research as author and coauthor of studies on cariology, mucogingival histology, implant dentistry and digital prosthetics. His work has been presented at major conferences, including the International Digital Dentistry Society World Congress and Anyridge Megagen Italy. He also contributed a chapter to the textbook Clinical Cariology (Quintessenza, 2025).
He has been a speaker at numerous national and international courses, ECM-certified events and dental congresses on periodontal diagnostics, implantology, prosthetics, digital workflows, salivary biomarkers and minimally invasive dentistry.
Today, Dr. Laveglia practices in his private clinic, focusing on evidence-based dentistry, prevention, precision treatments and continuous scientific development.
