Dr. Marco Veneziani
Dr. Marco Veneziani graduated in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics from the University of Milan in 1988 with honors. He furthered his expertise in Conservative Dentistry, Prosthetics, and Periodontology through annual courses with Dr. S. Patroni and Dr. P.P. Cortellini, and completed advanced training in Implant Surgery Techniques (Prof. Weinstein) and Advanced Implantology Surgery (Dr. C. Tinti). He also refined his skills in mucogingival surgery with Prof. G. Zucchelli. He has been an active member of the Italian Academy of Conservative and Restorative Dentistry (AIC) since 1996, the Italian Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (IAED) since 2012, and the International Academy for Digital Dental Medicine (IADDM). He has served as an adjunct professor at the University of Pavia (Conservative Dentistry from 2007 to 2011, Periodontology from 2019 to 2024) and in several postgraduate Master’s programs. A speaker at national and international conferences, he has published numerous scientific articles and book chapters in conservative and prosthetic dentistry. He received the "Case Report Award Dentista Moderno" in 2002 and placed third in the AIOP-APS Excellence in Prosthodontics Award in 2015. He is the author of the book "Solutions" (EDRA 2021), translated into seven languages. Practicing as a private professional since 1989, he also runs a training center in Vigolzone (PC), focusing on a multidisciplinary approach to dentistry.
CURRICULUM
Dr. Marco Veneziani has graduated with honors in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics from the University of Milan. From the very beginning of his career, he has been deeply committed to advancing his expertise in restorative and prosthetic dentistry, focusing on adhesive techniques and the clinical use of cutting-edge aesthetic materials.
He has completed advanced training programs in Italy and abroad, including:
- Annual courses in Restorative and Prosthetic Dentistry with Dr. Stefano Patroni (1991/1992 and 1993/1994).
- Annual Periodontology course with Dr. P.P. Cortellini (1993/1994).
- Advanced course in Implant Surgery Techniques, directed by Prof. Weistein at the University of Milan (1999).
- Advanced Surgery applied to Implantology course with Dr. Carlo Tinti (2003).
- Theoretical and practical course on mucogingival surgery with Prof. Giovanni Zucchelli (2010).
Since 1996, he has been an active member of the Italian Academy of Restorative Dentistry (AIC), holding key roles such as Member of the Membership Acceptance Committee (2001-2006, 2006-2011, 2019-2024) and Member of the Cultural Committee (2012-2015, 2019-2025). He is also an active member of the Italian Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (IAED) since 2012, serving on its Board of Directors, and has been an active member of the International Academy for Digital Dental Medicine (IADDM) since 2015.
In academia, he has served as Adjunct Professor in Restorative Dentistry at the University of Pavia (2007-2011), in the Master’s Program in Restorative Dentistry and Esthetics at the University of Turin (2017), and in the Master’s Program in Esthetic Restorative Dentistry at the University of Bologna (2018-2019). Since 2019, he has been an Adjunct Professor at Humanitas University in Milan, teaching in the Postgraduate Master’s Program in Restorative Dentistry. Additionally, he has been an Adjunct Professor in Periodontology at the University of Pavia for the academic years 2018-2019, 2020-2021, and 2022-2023.
Dr. Veneziani has been a speaker at national and international conferences since 1994, presenting innovative topics in restorative dentistry integrated with periodontology. Since 1999, he has conducted theoretical and practical courses at his training center, MFV Communication, in Vigolzone (PC).
He has authored scientific publications in restorative and prosthetic dentistry for national and international journals. He coauthored the chapters on amalgam and composite restorations in the manual “Restorative Dentistry” (Elsevier, 2009) and contributed to a chapter in “Esthetic Restorative Dentistry” (Quintessence, 2021). He is the sole author of the groundbreaking two-volume textbook “Solutions: Adhesive Restorative Techniques and Integrated Surgical Procedures” (EDRA, 2021), which has been translated into seven languages and received international acclaim.
Dr. Veneziani has received several prestigious awards, including the Case Report Award by Dentista Moderno (2002) for restorative dentistry and third place in the international AIOP-APS Excellence in Prosthodontics Award (2015). He has also served as an ECM Referee for the Italian Ministry of Health and as a Reviewer for the International Journal of Esthetic Dentistry.
He practices at his private clinic in Vigolzone (PC), employing a multidisciplinary and innovative approach to complex cases in restorative, esthetic, and prosthetic dentistry.
