Dr. Salvatore Batia is a Dental Surgeon specialized in Oral Surgery, with extensive clinical and academic experience gained at the University of Milan and leading Italian and international institutions.
His professional activity mainly focuses on advanced periodontal surgery, dental implantology, and complex implant-prosthetic rehabilitation, following evidence-based protocols and advanced surgical techniques.
He serves as a contract lecturer in the Degree Programs in Dental Hygiene and Dentistry, and as a clinical tutor at the Fondazione IRCCS Ca’ Granda – Policlinico Hospital of Milan, where he has been attending the Periodontology Department since 2017.
Dr. Batia completed an international research fellowship at the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor, in the Tissue Engineering Laboratory led by Prof. William Giannobile.
