Dr. Stefano Lombardo

Dr. Stefano Lombardo is a dentist and prosthodontist specializing in Restorative Dentistry, Fixed Prosthodontics, Implant Surgery, and Implant-Prosthodontics, with a particular focus on Aesthetic Dentistry and new Digital Technologies. Graduating with honors from the University of Turin in 1997, he has conducted teaching and research activities at leading Italian Universities, including those of Turin and Genoa. Since 2017, he has been a faculty member at the Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (IADS) and in various Master's programs, including those in Implantology at the University of Pisa and Restorative/Prosthetic Dentistry at the University of Bologna. Founder of Dental Training s.a.s. in 2017, curator of a dental YouTube channel followed by more than 50.000 colleagues from all over the world. He is also a founding member of SIPRO. He has authored numerous scientific publications and co-authored landmark books on prosthodontics and oral rehabilitation.
CURRICULUM
Dr. Stefano Lombardo was born in Turin on December 27, 1973. He graduated in 1992 with a Diploma in Dental Technician from the IPSIA G. Plana Institute in Turin. In 1997, he obtained his degree in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics from the University of Turin, with a score of 110/110 with honors and mention.
Dr. Lombardo specializes in Restorative Dentistry, Fixed Prosthodontics, Implant Surgery, and Implant-Prosthodontics, with a particular focus on Aesthetic Dentistry and new digital technologies.
From 1997 to 2009, Dr. Lombardo was involved in clinical, teaching, and research activities at the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry at the Dental Clinic, initially directed by Prof. Giulio Preti until 2006, and later by Prof. Stefano Carossa from 2006 onwards. He was a Contract Professor of Fixed Prosthodontics at the University of Genoa from 2000 to 2001, in the CLOPD, directed by Prof. Paolo Pera. From 2002 to 2007, he taught Restorative Dentistry as a Contract Professor at the University of Turin, in the CLOPD, under the direction of Prof. Stefano Carossa. From 2007 to 2009, he was a Contract Professor of Prosthetic Dentistry at the University of Turin, CLID, directed by Prof. Stefano Carossa.
Since 2017, Dr. Lombardo has been a faculty member of the Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (IADS), founded by Dr. Myron Nevins and Dr. Gerald Kramer. From 2018 to 2024, he has been a Contract Professor of Fixed Prosthodontics at the University of Genoa, CLOPD, directed before by Prof. Paolo Pera and now by Prof. Maria Menini. He has also been a faculty member of the Master's programs in Implantology at the University of Genoa (Prof. Paolo Pera), Pisa (Prof. Antonio Barone) and in Restorative/Prosthetic Dentistry at the University of Bologna (Prof. Lorenzo Breschi).
In 2022, Dr. Lombardo became a founding member of SIPRO (Italian Society of Prosthodontics and Oral Rehabilitation). He founded Dental Training s.a.s. in 2017, where he directs the multidisciplinary scientific programming and conducts his theoretical and practical courses in Fixed Prosthodontics, Implantology, Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry, and Modern Digital Technologies. He is also the author and curator of a dental YouTube channel followed by more than 50.000 colleagues from all over the world.
Dr. Lombardo has authored publications in national and international journals and has participated as a speaker at numerous courses and congresses. He is the co-author of the book “Prosthetic Rehabilitation Vol. 1, 2, and 3” by Prof. Giulio Preti, as well as a co-author of the “Treatise on Clinical Odontostomatology” by Prof. Remo Modica.
