The “Daily Endo Shaping” course by Dr. Francesca Parducci provides a comprehensive and up-to-date training program dedicated to modern endodontic shaping. Participants will learn validated clinical protocols designed to minimize procedural errors and enhance treatment success—from initial canal management, preflare and glide path creation, to minimally invasive shaping using Procodile Q and FQ systems. Special focus is placed on complex, curved and calcified canals, apical finishing techniques, and obturation with bioceramic sealers. The hands-on session allows participants to practice shaping on transparent models using advanced endodontic motors, ensuring practical, clinically relevant skills for everyday dentistry.

THEORETICAL PART

What to do before shaping:

  • Manual probing

  • Pre-flaring

  • Glide path

  • Shaping glide path: the key to success

Modern minimally invasive shaping:

  • Continuous rotation and reciprocation

  • The ProcodileQ system

  • Root canal shaping with the FQ rotary system

Management of calcified and curved canals:

  • How to avoid mistakes and achieve objectives

Apical finishing:

  • Working length

  • Apical gauging

  • Visual gauging

Root canal obturation with bioceramic sealers:

  • Materials

  • Technique

  • Clinical advantages

Restoration of the endodontically treated tooth

  • Biomechanical analysis of the remaining dental structure

  • Peripheral build-up

  • Fiber post: when, how many, which type

  • Post cementation

PRACTICAL PART

Dedicated workstations will allow participants to perform the shaping of multiple canals on transparent models, using the different available systems (continuous rotation and reciprocation). The exercises will be carried out with the EnDrive endomotor and the EnGo micromotor, under the constant supervision of the lecturer.
