The course “Endodontic Retreatment” with Dr. Fava offers a complete full-day training dedicated to the modern and predictable management of retreatment cases. Through a combined theoretical and practical approach, the program covers the key clinical steps of endodontic retreatment: from redefining an effective access cavity to the removal of root canal filling materials and intracanal posts, including both metallic and fiber posts.
Special focus is placed on regaining the correct working length, shaping and apical refinement in retreatment cases, and the use of biomaterials such as sealers and putties. The course also explores the management of iatrogenic complications — including perforations, ledges, and blockages — as well as strategies to handle altered apical anatomies and achieve an optimal final seal.
This training is designed for clinicians aiming to enhance their technique, confidence, and predictability in endodontic retreatment procedures.
