The theoretical course “Recovery of the Severely Compromised Tooth: from Retreatment to Reconstruction”, presented by Dr. Alessandro Fava, will take place on Saturday, November 28, 2026 at Hotel Polo in Rimini, Italy.

This educational program focuses on modern clinical approaches for diagnosing, retreating, and restoring severely compromised teeth. Participants will explore tooth maintainability criteria, biomechanical analysis for prognosis evaluation, and treatment decision-making in cracked tooth cases.

The course provides an in-depth overview of endodontic retreatment procedures, including access cavity redesign, removal of metallic and fiber posts, elimination of root canal filling materials, and recovery of the correct working length. Additional topics include the management of iatrogenic damage, the use of biomaterials, and restorative strategies aimed at achieving predictable, functional, and long-lasting clinical outcomes.
