PD Dr. Andreas Keßler, M.Sc.
PD Dr. Andreas Keßler, M.Sc. is a specialist in prosthodontics and digital dentistry. A Privatdozent at LMU Munich, his work focuses on additive manufacturing in dentistry. Since 2024, he has served as Senior Consultant at the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry, University of Freiburg.
CURRICULUM
PD Dr. Andreas Keßler, M.Sc. graduated in Dentistry from the University of Munich, where he later completed his doctoral degree before beginning his academic career at the Department of Operative Dentistry and Periodontology in 2014. Alongside his university activities, he gained valuable clinical experience as an assistant dentist in private practice.
In 2021, he completed his habilitation with research focusing on additive manufacturing in dentistry, earning his teaching qualification at LMU Munich and the academic title of Privatdozent (PD). He was subsequently appointed Senior Consultant.
In 2022, he completed a Master of Science in Prosthodontics. Since 2024, he has served as Senior Consultant in the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry at the University of Freiburg, where his clinical, teaching and research activities focus on prosthodontics, digital workflows and advanced restorative dentistry.
