Dr. Roberto Barone
Graduated in Medicine and Dentistry, he is exclusively dedicated to oral and implant surgery. A founding member of SICOI, IAO, and APOS, he is the author of scientific publications and several textbooks on oral surgery. For over 20 years, he has organized advanced training courses in oral and implant surgery.
CURRICULUM
Graduated in Medicine and Surgery and specialized in Dentistry at the University of Florence, he is in private practice in Florence, where he focuses exclusively on oral surgery and implant surgery. He is a founding member of the Italian Society of Oral Surgery (SICOI), where he served on the Board of Directors from 1989 to 1999 and was President from 1999 to 2000. He is the author of numerous scientific articles published in both Italian and international journals, as well as several reference books on oral surgery, including Impacted Wisdom Teeth, Jaw Cysts, and Pediatric Oral Surgery. For more than 20 years, he has been actively involved in postgraduate education, organizing annual courses in oral surgery and implant surgery. He is also a founding member of the Italian Academy of Osseointegration (IAO) and, in 2016, co-founded the Academy for Pediatric Oral Surgery (APOS), serving as its President from 2019 to 2022.
