The Injection Technique – Two-Day Full Immersion Course is an intensive educational program designed for clinicians seeking advanced training in direct composite restorative techniques using the Injection Technique.

The first day focuses on treatment planning, esthetic analysis, adhesive protocols and the Customized Hybrid Index workflow. Participants will explore the clinical indications of the Injection Technique, including esthetic restorations, pre-prosthetic treatments, periodontal cases and Full Mouth Adhesive Rehabilitation.

The second day is entirely dedicated to hands-on training, allowing participants to perform anterior restorations using the One Stage–Two Steps Injection Technique under the guidance of Dr. Marco Veneziani and Sig. Ateicos Quintavalla. Through live demonstrations, clinical videos and practical exercises, attendees will develop predictable workflows for highly esthetic and minimally invasive restorative dentistry.

FABRICATION OF THE CUSTOMIZED HYBRID INDEX (CHI) BY VENEZIANI QUINTAVALLA

Presentation of clinical cases using the Customized Hybrid Index (CHI)

Material selection

Step-by-step workflow for fabricating the CHI

Live demonstration of CHI fabrication

  • Preparation of the master model
  • Fabrication of the first silicone index
  • Thermoforming and finishing of the rigid matrix
  • Placement of calibrated wax profiles to create the injection ports
  • Injection of transparent silicone
  • Removal from the model and finishing procedures

Note: If you wish to fabricate the CHI for one of your own clinical cases during the course, you should prepare the diagnostic wax-up beforehand, duplicate it using a precision silicone material, and pour it in Type IV dental stone. Alternatively, you may bring a stereolithographic model produced from a digital workflow.

What You Need to Bring

  • Wax spatula (Peter Thomas type)
  • Resin finishing burs
  • Laboratory scalpel with No. 11 blade

All materials required to fabricate the Customized Hybrid Index will be provided by the organizer.

Marco Veneziani – Clinical Applications: Restorative Dentistry, Pre- and Post-Orthodontic Treatment, Periodontology, Full Mouth Adhesive Rehabilitation

Clinical videos

  • Live patient video: rehabilitation of the anterior segment from canine to canine using the MULTI-LAYERING TWO STAGES–THREE STEPS Injection Technique
  • Clinical video of intraoperative restorations for fractures extending beyond the CEJ using the Injection Technique

Hands-on Session. Monolithic Injection Technique – ONE STAGE–TWO STEPS

  • Fabrication of a conventional transparent silicone index using a standard impression tray on a P-OCCLUSAL model with intact teeth.
  • Alternate isolation of worn/eroded maxillary incisors using PTFE (Teflon) tape.
  • Adhesive procedure on alternating teeth.
  • First injection phase using flowable composite (lateral incisor–central incisor), followed by finishing procedures.
  • Second injection phase using flowable composite (central incisor–lateral incisor).
  • Finishing, polishing and final high-gloss polishing of the four maxillary incisors.
