This theoretical and hands-on course focuses on full crown preparation techniques, including Mini Chamfer, Long Chamfer and Vertical Preparations, which play a key role in modern fixed prosthodontics. Through a combination of lectures and practical exercises, participants will develop the skills required to plan and execute precise, functional and predictable tooth preparations.

The theoretical section covers the fundamental principles of tooth preparation, selection of finish lines according to different clinical situations, sequential preparation protocols and prosthetically driven preparation techniques. Special attention will be dedicated to provisional restorations, relining procedures and finishing protocols.

During the practical sessions, participants will observe live demonstrations on resin tooth simulators and perform Mini Chamfer, Long Chamfer and Vertical Preparations under the supervision of the instructor. Silicone indexes will also be fabricated and used to guide and verify the accuracy of each preparation design.
