Odt. Mimmo Castellana
Dental technician, owner of Smileline Technology dental laboratory since 1997 and founder of Smileline Invisible Aligners. He is an external lecturer at Aldent University in Tirana, a Digital Specialist for Henry Schein Krugg and a Formlabs KOL. A speaker at courses and webinars in Italy and abroad and co-author of several scientific articles, his main areas of interest include digital orthodontics, invisible aligners, 3D printing of biocompatible materials and the use of the Leaf Expander.
CURRICULUM
He obtained his Dental Technician Diploma from the Luigi Santarella Institute in Bari. Since 1997, he has been the owner of Smileline Technology dental laboratory and is the founder of Smileline Invisible Aligners.
Throughout his professional career, he has attended numerous orthodontic training courses in Italy and abroad, refining his technical expertise and developing a particular interest in the application of digital technologies to orthodontics.
He is an external lecturer at Aldent University in Tirana and collaborates with dental companies including 3Shape, Ivoclar and Leone. He is a Digital Specialist for Henry Schein Krugg and a Key Opinion Leader (KOL) for Formlabs. He also supplies orthodontic devices to the Policlinico di Bari and serves as a National Board Member of ORTEC.
He regularly lectures at webinars, courses and educational events in Italy and abroad and is the co-author of several scientific articles. In recent years, his research and development activities have focused on invisible aligners, digital technologies and biocompatible materials for 3D printing. More recently, his scientific interests have also included the evaluation of the Leaf Expander in orthodontic treatments for children and adults.
