Fixed prosthodontics requires accurate treatment planning, a thorough understanding of restorative materials and precise clinical protocols, from tooth preparation to final cementation.
During this three-day theoretical and practical course, Dr Luca Ortensi will guide participants through the main stages of fixed prosthodontic treatment, exploring the differences between the restoration of single anterior and posterior teeth.
The programme will cover ceramic material selection, tooth preparation techniques, provisional restorations, cementation procedures and occlusal assessment. Particular attention will also be given to the comparison between digital and conventional impressions, scanning techniques and proper digital file management.
Hands-on sessions will allow participants to practise anterior and posterior tooth preparations on models, provisional restoration relining and finishing, and impression-taking procedures.
A comprehensive educational experience designed to strengthen fundamental knowledge of fixed prosthodontics and develop clinical protocols applicable to everyday dental practice.
